FDA-compliant FKM (Fluorocarbon) O-rings are made from a high-performance synthetic elastomer primarily composed of vinylidene fluoride (VDF) and hexafluoropropylene (HFP). These seals are specifically formulated to meet FDA standards for use in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications where chemical resistance and cleanliness are essential. FKM FDA O-rings provide exceptional resistance to high temperatures, oils, fuels, and a wide range of chemicals, making them suitable for demanding sanitary processing environments.

FKM FDA Limitations

• Not suitable for continuous exposure to hot water or steam.
