Silicone Washer Caps Limitations

• Poor tear resistance when stretched past structural limits over sharp threads.
• Prone to swelling or degradation when exposed to specific strong solvents or hydrocarbons.
• Lower mechanical abrasion resistance compared to heavy-duty vinyl or EPDM alternatives.
• Not suitable as permanent structural seals under high mechanical stress.
